I enjoy reading this blog. Nice balance. I have a question. Is there a collection of indicators or movements in indicators that would give you all enough confidence that the US economy is joining the world in a slowdown/recession??? I was eyeballing the stock market chart for the 12 largest economies in the world, and 11 out of 12 look to be "rolling over." (maybe for more downside or maybe at a bottom) The US has so far been the only exception. (Good Summary can be found by viewing the: FT WORLD Index EX USA)
